Had a chance to watch an old wind turbine being taken down a earlier this week in Barnesville, Ohio. Greg Courtney and his son Sam, of Wind Turbines of Ohio, let me follow them along for the day. What a cool thing to watch. I thought they were going to take it down section by section. But no, they just hoisted it up all at once with an 80 ton crane. What a day.
