I recently shot an assignment in Dayton for the New York Times about a program called Welcome Dayton where the city is recruiting immigrant to the community to become members of the Dayton community. I was amazed by how the city embraced this idea and are taking action to better their community and it's members. I spent most of the day with members of a large Turkish population in the Dayton area who resettled in the city seven years ago after moving there from Russia.
